Turkana Desert Roses is a community-based organization in Lodwar, Turkana County, Kenya, harnessing the power of football and education to transform lives. In a region where girls face early pregnancies, forced marriages, poverty, and limited access to schooling, we provide safe spaces for them to learn, play, and thrive. Through football, we build teamwork, resilience, and sisterhood; through education, we offer mentorship, materials, and support to keep girls in school. Our wider programs in entrepreneurship, health, and environmental conservation equip women and girls with essential life skills, empowering them to become leaders and break cycles of inequality. We are more than a team — we are a movement for change.
